What’s new
Wider access to Google Earth AI, a public launch of Deep Review, and the TimesFM and TabFM forecasting models coming to Gemini for business.
Who it affects
Businesses that forecast from their own spreadsheets, plus scientists, health workers and crisis responders.

Earth AI’s geospatial models and agent are opening to more partners, with the Google.org funding going to organisations working on crisis resilience and public health. Deep Review, the technical document checker, is now open to everyone. TimesFM and TabFM are built for time-series and spreadsheet data. Google also highlighted a low-power edge AI chip made with Synaptics and progress on its MedGemma and AMIE health models.

Why it matters

The common thread is moving research out of the lab and into tools people can use. For businesses, forecasting from their own tables without training a model is the practical win. For scientists and health workers, the open question is how well these tools hold up outside Google’s own tests.
